Walked Up Days  (updated May 2010)

We understand that not every one likes to 
stand on a peg and wait for the birds to be presented.  The excitement for some is 
simply being part of nature and shooting 
the unexpected bird that can be a quick and testing shot.  

This type of day is much less formal 
than a driven day.

We accept teams of any size, including single guns, by prior arrangement. Young guns and well behaved gundogs are welcomed and encouraged.
 

Bag size approximately 30 birds walked up.

The Keeper will accompany you on these days and advise the most suitable terrain.

 We can also provide semi-driven casual days with some walked up shooting and beaters.  Bag sizes 50 birds.

Friends/family/non shooters welcome on the day, please be aware that there is considerable amounts of walking on this type of day over varying terrain. Please make these arrangements prior to the day and advise the total number for catering purposes.

All persons shooting MUST have public liability insurance or be member of one of the various shooting organisations that include this as part of the membership. (e.g. BASC, CPSA, Countryside Alliance etc).  We cannot accept any bookings from persons not having this insurance, exemption for beginners. 

Proof of valid membership will need to be shown to the keeper on the day.
