Welcome to The Bryn Shoot !

We are a friendly commercial pheasant shoot on the Shropshire/Mid Wales Border near Presteigne, Powys, UK, an area well known for its shooting and outstanding countryside.

If you are looking for a fully driven affordable day on a friendly shoot for a bag of approximately 125 to 150 quality birds, then look no further, we can put a
package together for you tailored to your requirements.  

We can offer :

• Fully driven testing mixed pheasant and partridge day for team of 8 guns (extra gun by prior arrangement) with full hospitality.
  
• A walked up day using your own dogs for 30 birds (any team size      from 1 to 9 persons)
• A semi driven and walked up casual day for 30 - 50 birds               (minimum 4 persons)
• Live game and rabbit gundog training with or without shooting
• Accompanied Fallow Deer Stalking at Criggion Estate (during season)

There is over 1,500 acres of varying terrain which is ideal for walked up, driven and dog/field trial training days.  The scenery is spectacular and we have the prefect ground which makes for high fast birds.  The gamekeeper, Roger Keenan, has years of experience and patience with an interest in field trial and dog training.  

Advice for beginners, or those moving on from clays, on shooting etiquette and shotgun training is available along with estate shotguns if needed.  These days are limited in number, please contact us. 

We can also arrange corporate group days for Clients with half day clay instruction and competition and half day driven pheasant.
