Welcome to The Bryn Shoot !

We are a small friendly shoot on the Shropshire/Mid Wales Border near Knighton, Powys, UK, an area well known for its shooting and outstanding countryside.

Unlike many shoots, we do not cater for large bag days and we have the patience to deal with live game training days suitable to 'steady/sharpen up' dogs in preparation for Field Trials. 

Game includes pheasant, partridge, rabbit, hare, snipe & woodcock.

If you are looking for a fully driven affordable day on a friendly shoot for a bag of approximately 125 quality birds, then look no further, we can put a package together for you tailored to your requirements.  

We can offer :

• Fully driven quality mixed pheasant and partridge day for team of 8 guns
• A walked up or semi driven casual day for 30 birds (any number of guns)
• Live Game training day in preparation for Field Trials and Gundog Working Tests
• Accompanied Fallow Deer Stalking at Criggion Estate (during season)
• Short breaks in 5* luxury self catering holiday cottage at a discount price for shooting people all year round

There is over 1,200 acres of varying terrain which is ideal for walked up, driven and dog/field trial training days.  The scenery is spectacular and we have the prefect ground which makes for high fast birds.  The gamekeeper, Roger Keenan, has years of experience and patience with an interest in field trial training and dogs.  

Advice for beginners on shooting etiquette and shotgun training is available along with estate shotguns if needed.
